Everyone's happy today! Came home from work and my new FPGA board has arrived. Here's an action shot of it running a demo program turning it into a simple synthesizer. I also grabbed an AT90 microcontroller demo USB key. The cool thing about this dev board was when I plugged it into my computer, it acted as a hard drive with all it's own documentation inside it. The mini joystick and buttons act like a USB mouse as well. Neat! Just for kicks I also ordered 5 neat little mouse sensor chips. Not sure exactly what I'll do with these. Hopefully they can work without a fancy lens, or perhaps I can find some old optical mice for a source of lenses. |
